ibis budget Torun

I really enjoyed my 4-day stay here. This riverside hotel is a 5-minute walk to the city center and right by the conference center I was attending; overall it sat in a very convenient position for my trip in Torun. The room was pretty nice too. No wardrobe but plenty of hangers on the walls. There was a small table with two chairs (useful for the bodyweight exercises they recommend in the halls!). The floor is made out of soft material which makes walking barefoot in your room very nice. I also liked the open bathroom with the toilet being located in a separate room.

Staff is friendly. Location is perfect. Everything as should be. Of course for the budget you can expect lower quality breakfast, beds, rooms which is not a bad thing. Just for the not all money of the world. I've stayed in Ibis budget in Wroclaw, Warsaw and here in Torun and I like it for the short visits.

Great value all things being considered. The room was very comfortable. The shower was bigger than normal. European hotel rooms are smaller, but traveling solo it isn't an issue. There is a nightclub across the road and it was loud but I was pleasantly surprised how effect the window was at reducing the noise when I closed it.

Basic room, very close to the city center. Parking lot available for hotel guests for a fee. Room small, simple but tidy with a sink and shower. TV with variety of channels. Breakfast basic but with quite a variety of food - awesome energetic oat bars!

Excellent price-performance ratio, good location a short walk from the historical center, economically furnished yet very practical and fully adequate rooms for a short stay
